Here you can order your own custom designed leather sew on patch with your own logo/artwork. (Some example badges are shown in the pictures) In 100% genuine leather these are laser engraved with the artwork, and even the holes are ready cut to make it easy to sew on - we would recommend a thick thread and use a back stitch for neatness) price is a little higher than the standard range to allow a bit for processing artwork etc. Please send me your artwork as a good quality black and white jpeg or pdf (any queries re this please get in touch)
Perfect to decorate your motorcycle jacket, cap, bag, jeans etc.
Size will vary depending on what you want (usual maximum size 75mm) and around 1.5mm thick leather.
We currently have Tan, brown , Black and Natural colours and these show good contrast to the artwork , but may be able to offer other colours if required. Please select your colour choice from the drop down list.
Patches can be cut to any shape to suit the artwork and come as standard with stitch holes (these can be left off if you want to glue them on)
The black and brown shows the artwork as different textures, so a bit more subtle than the others. I usually reverse engrave these colours so you get an 'embossed' look
The natural is an undyed leather so a natural buff/cream colour and this will age nicely changing to a warm honey as time passes. Makes a great contrast to darker jackets etc. All the leathers are finished and sealed.
As these are made from 100% genuine leather the characteristics of the leather show through and give more character, so you may see natural grain, creases, small marks within the leather surface.
If you would like any other artwork made into a patch please get in touch and we can sort that out for you. Please send your artwork to me by email to djhutton@btinternet.com .
Please send black and white artwork as a good quality jpeg or pdf (also let us know if you have any specific size you need) . You'll see from the examples in the pictures that we can only engrave one colour, so the design has to be mono, not colour or greyscale - thanks
